To whom may read this.. Hi, let me tell you a little about myself.
My name is Filippo, I'm 27 years old and I was born in Ferrara, a city in Emilia-Romagna region, and I stayed there until I was 18, when I decided to move to Urbino in order to follow my passion for visual arts, enrolling in the Superior Institute for the Industrial Arts.
Those three years have been an enormous opportunity to master the various world of Art and all of its facets, but more importantly to understand what I really liked about it.
I DID a lot of projects, with friends, colleagues from school but also with people who I didn't really know, but shared the same passion for visual arts.
The organization and the attention to detail that we all had throughout the years, always made me feel proud, fulfilled and happy.
After getting my Degree, I decided to undertake a path that was really different from what I've always done, but at the same time it was something that could arouse something in people: publishing.
I had the honor to work for several years with some incredibile teams: from "Alpaca", "Muschi e Licheni", "Parasite 2.0", "Nero Editore" to "Corraini", which taught me first hand what it meant to work in that SECTOR.
My university course certainly was focused on visual arts, but the feeling of finally putting what I learnt to practice, made me realize that I made the right decision.
The part of my job which made me feel proud at most, was being able, with small improvements and details, to make someone else appreciate something. To be able, in my own small way, to contribute to telling its story.
After my time in Urbino, I moved for short period to Rome and Milan, two big cities that offered me a million of opportunities, but which unfortunately always made me feel like a fish in the middle of the ocean.
For short periods of time I returned to Ferrara, where, through local associations, such as "Arci Ferrara", "Vulandra", "Internazionale" and "Interno Verde" I had the outgoing opportunity to propose exhibitions and workshops focused on enhancing the elements that nature offers us daily.
I really enjoyed these activities, it's always special to see that by involving even a small part of the community, you can get such a strong and significant feedback, and when that community is yours, it's even more important.
Still in ferrara, while working with a friend of mine, we re-established an old printing house originally belonging to his family, and by getting together small artists, we created some printing projects, trying yo give new life to something that had been lost over time.
At the same time, I had the opportunity to take care and set up various projects of "The Mosshelter", a Ferrara-based company that focuses its activity on the creation go hand made terrariums.
Thanks to a long series of events and coincidences, I moved to Val di Fiemme, to Predazzo, where I finally found my dimension.
I fell in love with the simple but evocative beauty that these wonderful places offer; I have grown fond of people who know each other and also of the small cultural customs that I'm now starting to consider a bit my own as well.
I'm a dynamic, proactive person, full of desire to do things. I like working in teams, but I also know how to work well on my own. I'm very responsible, punctual and precise, but I also know how to be very flexible when needed.
For the moment, I'm exploring different working related realities that what I would have thought of doing, which is making me grown and learn constantly about new aspects of myself and my surroundings.
Thank you sincerely for reading me,
Filippo.
